With a combined ticket to the gardens and a 60 minute Aviary tour you’ll be blown away by this secret gem hidden in the Sunshine Coast hinterland. With over 700 bird varieties, you are sure to meet a few friendly faces who love the camera. There is also plenty of time to enjoy a picnic by the secluded waterfalls or find a cosy spot to enjoy the stunning views of the Glasshouse Mountains.

Maleny Botanic Gardens is open everyday from 9am to 4.30pm and the aviary tours will run at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1pm and 2pm. Get your tickets here and come explore this secret away in the Sunshine Coast.

Aviary Tours depart daily at 10.30am, 11.30am, 1pm and 2pm - Access to the gardens is available from 9am until 4.30pm daily

“ Very good excellent staff was lovely and the bird world was great and awesome. Loved it, well worth the drive to Maleny, highly recommend it 😊 Nice picnic grounds. Buggy hire helped my dad to see the grounds, and also made things a lot easier. It’s so pretty 😊

Excellent. We loved the bird experiences and gardens.

All of the staff were very friendly. We enjoyed the feathered experience plus the aviary experience. Got some great photos. We spent alot of time walking through the gardens. The waterfall at the rock formation was a nice surprise. Nice rose garden and fantastic views of the Glasshouse mountains. Lots of areas to eat - either own food or theirs.

We had a wonderful day at the Maleny Botanic Gardens. The bird aviary tour was awesome very friendly guide who made sure everyone got to have a bird sit on them. Highly recommend

A great day out for all ages .Nice café however limited gluten free options. Great fun driving golf buggy around the gardens but you can walk it.. Friendly helpful staff. Would be a great venue for a wedding as long as weather was good. A definite yes from me

Maleny botanic Gardens and bird world tour with hundreds of birds.

Amazing experience. Our tour guide in the aviary was very welcoming and knowledgeable. The gardens were beautiful and the views of the glass house mountains were simply stunning. Such a wonderful experience. A must do for everyone. Highly recommended.

A wonderful interactive experience set amongst a breathtaking landscape.

The gardens are beautiful and the view is gorgeous but the bird aviary is truly an amazing experience. Later this year they’re opening a farmyard and a reptile experience which I can’t wait to go back and see if it’s anything like the aviary experience. Getting up close and personal with these beautiful birds was truly amazing.

Amazing experience. The bird world tour was amazing. 5 stars for the bird tour.

View of the Glass House Mountains from the gardens was so beautiful. The garden is massive and buggy ride is $40 but we didn't think it was necessary as there wasn't much flowers in the area during our visit except for the front area which was really beautiful with lots of flowers.

Omg! A must! What a great day out especially for the families.

Omg! A must! What a great day out especially for the family. Amazing super friendly helpful staff. We went on an aviary tour. It was amazing, the tour guide Mark was great, learned so much with a lot of laughter. To be so up and close with so many birds- fantastic. Went for a walk around the botanic garden wow! I would highly recommend taking a picnic and make it a whole day out 10/10

The views, scenery and experience were amazing. Great day out.

We had an amazing time, the only thing we thought was missing was name tags on the plants. So we could know what they were. There were so many varieties but we didn't know what we were looking at. The facility is extremely well set up with lots of places to stop and spend time.

The staff are friendly and well trained and give you all the instructions for a safe aviary visit. There is a huge variety of birds and they all look very happy as they have heaps of space to fly around. Such a unique experience to interact with them.

An excellent day

An excellent day, one of the most beautiful gardens I have seen in Oz. Lots of beautiful birds in the aviary the staff lady was very knowledgeable and all the staff were lovely. We hired one of the buggies to get around the park which was fun! I would definitely come back again!
