How to get there
Walk
Just a 2 minute walk from the beach on the southern end of Mooloolaba Esplanade
Car
If you are coming from Brisbane simply follow the Bruce Highway north and take the Mooloolaba exit after the Ettamogah Pub, then simply follow the signs to Mooloolaba
- If you are coming from Gympie follow the Bruce Highway south and exit at the Maroochydore exit. Follow the signs onto the Sunshine Motorway. Exit at the Mooloolaba exit and follow the brown signs to SEA LIFE Sunshine Coast
Bus
- Sunbus operates a regular bus service from Noosa to Caloundra. Contact Sunbus on 13 12 30 for more information
Train
- Queensland Rail Citytrain offers a 7 day service (with connecting bus service) which operates between the Gold Coast, Brisbane and Sunshine Coast stations at Landsborough and Nambour

“ I was surprised to find that Sunshine Coast had something like this which is great! The location was great for this with food and shops and water nearby. My 5yo son and I loved the aquarium, sea life is always good for kids, and it’s great they have interactive elements.

3 months agoWas perfect for us a family of 5. The kids and ourselves have enjoyed exploring Sea World. An exciting new experience for us on our little holiday that we had taken to come to see Australia’s sea animals. Our fav was the jellyfish.
It is alright for kids. The cost is a bit way overpriced but the kids enjoyed them self so we’re happy and have soaked up all the exploring of the animals that were available, as some parts were closed off even tho we had paid to see a seal show which they closed.
4 months agoWell-run attraction. Took a friend to SEA LIFE and we had a brilliant time. Plenty of parking and not too crowded in the venue. Highly recommend this attraction.
An enjoyable experience that caters for all ages. Must see on the Sunshine Coast. Parking could be an issue at peak times like school holidays. We found the presentations by SEA LIFE staff very educational and interesting. Sessions run on time with no waiting but best to get to the venue about 10 minutes early.
5 months agoGreat little day out, with lots of interaction for the younger kids.
Wonderful time at SEA LIFE, definitely only need a few hours to see everything, the seal show is very good and interactive. The biggest hit would definitely be the tunnel with lots of movement between animals. They also have an amazing indoor play centre for the kids.
6 months agoGreat to see so much marine life in one place. The animals looked healthy.
Nice clean venue, the seal show was good, and had a photo opportunity with the seal. Would have liked a photo with a shark but not scheduled on the weekend. Great experience, and would recommend it to anyone who has an interest in sea life or that has a small family. Worth the wait!
6 months agoUser friendly website and the price was much cheaper on the Experience Oz website rather than the actual Sea Life Sunshine Coast website.
I purchased my tickets for the first time through Experience Oz and was happy with how user friendly the website was. They immediately emailed me the tickets, which I was able to add to my apple wallet and then just show it at the counter at Sea Life Sunshine Coast. The best part was that the tickets were much cheaper than the actual Sea Life Sunshine Coast official website. I would use this site again for sure. 10/10
11 months agoGreat fun for the kids, loved the animals and the shows were great.
We absolutely loved the aquarium, already planning on coming back next time we are up in the sunshine coast for out holidays. Experience oz was easy and helpful to use too. All round good experience with everything we have used buying tickets and getting to Sealife.
12 months agoGood mix of animals, worth a look and good way to beat the heat
Decided to go and check out the aquarium as I have not been in 8 years but not much has changed...still a good way to spend a couple of hours. I would advise to go in the afternoon when there maybe less school kids as it can be quiet noisey especially in the underground tunnels

A great day out looking at all the amazing animals this place has to offer. Make sure you go to the seal show to see the wonderful seals do their tricks. There is also a great cafe for food & to sit and relax. There is quite a lot of parking outside, but it is a 4 hourly timed area.
