The first two courses (Green and Purple) are easy while the final two courses (Black and Black Diamond) are more difficult challenges suitable for daredevils only. “ We booked the Tree Top Adventure for our daughter's birthday for her and 3 friends. We saved a few dollars by booking through Experience Oz. Winning. We arrived at 11am start thinking we would be at least 2 hours well 4 1/2 hours later the kids returned. Mum and dad have had a sleep in the car, drove down the road to Woombye and got fish n chips. Yum. So to say this was a fantastic day out and we look forward to doing it again. Maybe mum and dad might do it too this time.
We drove 2.5 hours to get to the treetop challenge at the Sunshine Coast and it rained the whole way. We decided to rescheduled due to the rain as we didn’t think our experience would be the best in the wet weather. When we advised the man behind the counter of this and I asked my partner when a better date and time would be due to us living a few hours away, the man behind the counter proceeded to tell us that he lives 1.5 hours from work and drives there everyday. I was so dumbfounded by his response because, one, I was not talking to him, I was talking to my partner, and two, that’s his decision and not everyone wishes or has to drive those distances to work. At the end of the day that is his decision. I ended up having the experience moved to the Mount Tambourine location as this man’s rudeness made me not want to come back. Very unprofessional to make those comments when clearly he was not being spoken to.
11 months agoHighly recommend this experience. It’s fun, it’s exciting and it’s challenging where you can really test yourself. I thoroughly enjoyed doing all courses but the only downfall would be how long you have to wait in line. I recommend doing it at the very first time frame they have as it was about a 1/2 hour wait each line. Overall very happy with the experience!!

2 years agoI recommend this activity. It's so fun! The staff are very friendly and explain clearly the instructions to access the activity. You can try to pass different obstacles. You can disconnect from daily routine and spend time with nature. You can share this activity with friends or family.
3 years agoThe Sunshine Coast Treetop challenge lived up to its expectation and outstanding recommendation from friends and family. From start to finish the challenge had all aspects covered to enjoy and appreciate zipping and climbing in the treetops. The guides gave only a brief introduction on how to maintain safety and navigate the courses. Initially, it was daunting when given so much autonomy during the start of the challenge, but once you hook onto the first zip line its full steam ahead. I have no hesitation recommending the Treetop Challenge and will definitely be back to take on the double black diamond course again.
3 years agoAfter the first few levels, you lose the fear of heights. It becomes harder as you go higher up the levels. Make sure you eat well and carry plenty of water if you are trying to complete all challenges. The place is easy to reach from the big pineapple and you can make a day out of the treetop challenge and the nearby zoo.
3 years agoIn the begging bit scary and we nearly want to give up, but we still doing some bit until we think it’s good fun. But we all hope we can be more fit to do high level. But anyway we all have fun and a good experience. And it really has a good day inside the forest. We will definitely go back and do it again.
3 years agoIt’s fun, but the waiting time is too long to get your turn on the game. If they can create more courses for each level, so the same amount of people could be divided into different courses. It can reduce the waiting time and people more enjoy the game, That would awesome!
3 years agoSuch a fun and challenging experience! There are different challenges for varying abilities - which is great because some are most definitely not for the faint-hearted. My teenagers tried them all and absolutely loved them. My younger son was still able to participate thanks to the different treetop challenges- it's great that there’s something for everyone.
3 years agoThis challenge is such a great experience in a beautiful location at the Big Pineapple. You can do the challenge at your own pace which is great, and even though I'm not the biggest fan of heights I loved it, and the zip lines were definitely a highlight. The instructors and helpful and efficient, highly recommend this for anyone and everyone!
3 years ago“Don't be afraid, it is really safe and the safety equipment is top notch (very high standard)! Make sure to wear comfortable clothing, we suggest long pants.”
